As I've mentioned before, my oldest son was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the age of 12, years after he was misdiagnosed with ADD. “My son’s medications were Adderall and Guafacine, and we experienced the side effects of behavioural outbursts and rage fits with him on this. My husband and I spent countless evenings combating our ‘out of control’ boy, and trying to keep peace in a home that was controlled by this unpredictable behaviour. Today is Willie's 11th birthday! We are pleased to tell people that Willie is now off all his medications!” Libby shares her journey: “Doctors labelled him Asperger’s Syndrome (a form of Autism) and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Then a mother at a basketball practice mentioned that she had heard that some of these symptoms could be related to allergies, and we discussed the possibility of trying some nutritional ways to clear up his asthma. I listened to a CD on asthma, allergies and nutrition that talked about ear infections and antibiotics. Willie had had countless ear infections as a child and had suffered three seizures related to his temp being high from infections. He was diagnosed with asthma at age 2, and had been on 21 rounds of antibiotics by the time he was age 3. By preschool he was on regular asthma medication and additionally was labelled ADHD. The CD went on to tell me that his symptoms could be related to an allergy to milk or wheat, etc., and a nutrient deficiency and lack of probiotics. We made major changes. Today (2 months later) at age 11, Willie is on a Shaklee vitamin & nutrition program. He is off all medication; he's in advanced math and loves Science. He has never had another ‘rage outburst!’

o I also give him Alfalfa to control his asthma symptoms and allergies, and it works wonderfully!
