It's our 24th wedding anniversay today. It is hard to believe; time passed so quickly. So much has happened.
We had a beautiful day; drove to Hawkesbury, Ontario, had breakfast at Goodie's; shopped a bit, and gassed up at the pump. Saved 13 cents per litre compared to Montreal, Quebec.
We then went to the movies on the way back, saw Julie&Julia; very good movie, and for anyone who grew up watching Julia Child cook on TV, it is really enjoyable to see.
Be sure not to go with an appetite to this movie; the food looks soooo good. The movie should come with cheese, a baguette and wine; it is just mouth watering to see the recipes in this movie.
Our youngest son called just as the movie ended to say he and girlfriend were hungry and going to our house. We picked up some chicken, and had lunch (at 3:30 pm) together.
Dessert was ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.
