Seeing a movie twice... regardless!

Wednesday was a holiday, and the weather was just gorgeous. On Tuesday night, I had suggested to my husband that we could do a double feature at the movies. Transformers was premiering at midnight O one, and we also wanted to see the movie Up!

So we saw Up! at 9:20 p.m., which ended at 11:05, then as we walked out of our theatre, we saw the endless lineups to see the Transformers movie. We already had purchased the tickets, and we decided to stand in line. Well, all was going well during the movie until about an hour and forty minutes into the movie, the scenes were suddenly upside down, and the dialogue was backwards. For the first 20 seconds, everyone thought it was part of the movie, but when it continued, the crowd was quickly turning into an angry mob. Whew! Talk about being fanatics.

I truly sympathized with the employee who had to tell the crowd there was nothing that could be done. They had received the copies in the afternoon, and there had not been any time to preview the movie. The crowd was not happy; he told them to get the free passes on the way out, and he left.

So much for our first Premiere! The Transformers is not a movie I had planned to see more than once. I was not sure I wanted to go sit through the whole thing again to get to the ending. Now, if this had happened at a Harry Potter movie, I would have been back that same day!

Anyway, we finally went back to see the Transformers today. Now we know the ending! On to the next movie!
